Born in Norfolk, Karen has spent much of her adult life travelling the world. During the past fifteen years she has painted consistently, naturally developing her own style.

Karen now lives on the seafront in Southwold which in itself is inspirational. Working mainly in acrylics, Karen enjoys transposing this inspiration into her paintings using light to create dramatic works.

Karen exhibits in the Southwold Gallery and at Thompson's Gallery in Aldeburgh.

ZARINS Gallery contains a selection of 20th century paintings and posters, accompanied by Victorian gothic, aesthetic arts and crafts, art déco, modernist and post war furniture. Architect designed Colonial pieces in rare exotic woods, ebony, satinwood and rosewood are also on display.
