Welcome to Southwold Scene
Chinwe Chukwuogo-Roy
Chinwe is a versatile artist who works in oils, etchings, monotypes, pastels and sculpture. Her subjects range from portraiture, still life and landscape and include both Suffolk and African scenes.
Chinwe (self portrait right) has exhibited widely and her work is represented in public and private collections in many countries.
She received worldwide recognition for painting the official Golden Jubilee portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Head of The Commonwealth and for her work with a number of prominent personalities.
Kevin and Val of Sanderling Internet in Bungay who also designed Southwold Scene were thrilled to meet with Chinwe and to design and build a website for her.
This site offers a selection of her work in different styles, from vibrant African landscapes and colourful still life paintings to delicate etchings of Suffolk scenes.
The different works are available as either monotypes, etchings or gicleé prints and available to buy online www.chinwe-gallery.co.uk or visit the Chinwe Gallery at Glevering Mill in Wickham Market.
