Sutton Hoo is one of the most important Anglo-Saxon burial sites in Europe and the treasure found there is amongst the richest to have survived from that era. At the heart of the estate stands Tranmer House, an imposing property on high ground above the River Deben.

The largest of two apartments on the second floor of Tranmer House. It has a terrific feeling of space with a large sitting room and spacious bedrooms, together with views over the Sutton Hoo estate, overlooking the open heath and woodland on one side and boats gently swaying in Woodbridge Marina on the other. Kyson is superbly located for peaceful evening strolls around the estate towards the river Deben and down to the nearby Wilford Bridge pub and restaurant.

Local facilities, include both unique and traditional shops and restaurants all within a short distance of the wonderful Suffolk coast.
